The most amazing food. Christmas is a delight for the eyes. Their decorations are so pretty. The service is wonderful. I love it here. I feel cared for and taken care of. Kind of that cozy feeling you get with your favorite blanket. That's what this place does for me. Whether I'm alone or in a group, I always feel cared for. The food is outstanding. I'm looking forward to going again.

Pretty historic hotel! Really friendly and welcoming staff. Very clean and well maintained. Location is pretty, but not as convenient for walking to stuff. It's definitely possible to get a decent lake view, although we didn't. It was terribly loud at night. Every weird and sound can be heard from the neighboring rooms and drunk people were banging on doors and being loud at 3am (which I guess isn't the hotels fault).

We can’t thank this hotel enough for their kindness and hospitality. We were displaced unexpectedly from the flood a few weeks ago, and though we were only there one night, they were incredibly accommodating with our situation and made sure we were well taken care of. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and every detail made a stressful time feel a little easier. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking not just for great service, but for people who genuinely care.

Relatively quiet location within walking distance to many attractions and adjacent to public transportation lines. Staff accommodated our room view request and was accommodating when requesting postage and additional coffee for the room. There were some possessions remaining in the room from prior guests, but otherwise everything was neat and clean. The historic nature of the building was immediately apparent upon arrival and the 100 year old Servidors were well maintained.

My wife and I had a wonderful time here! We usually pick chain hotels, but this place really caught our eye. The location right by the lake is fantastic. We loved our stay so much that we’ve booked two more weekends to come back and stay this summer. The building has a variety of rooms and condos. Some folks live here, while others rent out the condos. I bet that adds a special touch to each unit. The only drawbacks to the unit we rented, #610, were that the ceiling fan in the bedroom was not operational, and it was full of dust. The mattress was very worn out, and the TV in the bedroom was far too large given the size of the room and proximity to the bed. Overall, we enjoyed our room despite those inconveniences. We'll be back this summer!

A beautiful historic hotel. You can tell it was built in a different century due to all the little charms. Like the hotel room having 2 massive walk-in closets and the attention to details when it came to the fixtures and accents, like the keys to the room being physical keys. The room was very large and the shower pressure good. The walls can be a bit thin by the hallway but it is not the worst thing in the world since the room was big and the bed further away. Overall, I would recommend staying.

Love my stay I wish I could have regulated the temperature it was hot maybe because of its age. My black sweater fell behind the chair and when I picked it up it was full blonde hair and dust. Also the door had a huge gap under the door I can hear people and see them walking by.

When you walk in you are greeted to an intricate lobby, that will remind you of 5 star hotels past. Gold trimming and shining floors every luxury hotel you’ve ever been to cannot compete with. When you walk down the halls you’ll see vintage doors from the 1900s. Every room has the most comfortable bed with linens that will make you never want to leave. If you choose a room with a whirlpool, you will be in an indoor oasis. If you’re thinking about getting a room here, don’t think just do!
